Monitor Lizard in My Faculty's foyer!! (Universiti Malaysia Sabah)

Few days ago, there something unusual happened in my faculty’s foyer. What is that so unusual? Well, take a look at the video below.

Yes, that is a monitor lizard or 四脚蛇 in mandarin. Do you think it is big? I don’t know how it came into the foyer but when I saw it, without a minute waste I quickly grabbed my friends handphone which it Nokia N95 to capture the video.

In the Video, you can see that the monitor lizard is terrify and finding its way out. Of course we got no intension to harm it so you can see that we are guiding it out. Hope it can find its way back home…haha!

Have you ever eat them?Well,i never and never think to do so!But i like snake meat..hehe!

p/s: The “we” got no intension to harm the lizard does not include the guy name Allan which throw the stone at the end of the video.

My Favourite Computer Game of All-Time

The game I like to play is a well known game call Defense Of The Ancient (DOTA).Yes, I think everybody know this game. Even you didn’t play before, for sure you have heard before.

DOTA is a game or a map in War craft III. There are two teams which are Sentinel and Scourge. Each team can have maximum 5 players. There are total of 91 heroes and each hero got 4 skills. The base of each team is at the opposite side of each other. There are only 3 route leads which lead to the opponent base. The game is very simple, you only need to control a hero. You will level up and earn gold when you kill opponent creeps or heroes. The maximum level for each hero is level 25.The Goal for this game is to destroy “The Frozen Throne” of scourge(if you are a Sentinel) or destroy the “The World Tree” of Sentinel(If you are a Scourge).Who ever destroy the opponent “The Frozen Throne” or “The World Tree” will won the game.

Beyond Godlike is the highest rank for continually kill opponent heroes!

The game really seems to be simple but it is not when you are playing. You will need to earn gold and level up as fast as possible so that you can have good item to pawn your opponent. Teamwork is extremely important in playing DOTA. If you don’t have teamwork with your team mate, you will lose the game easily.

How nice if i can gold as fast as this.

Although the map only got 3 main route lead to the opponent base, but in between there are many side road for example forest where you can hide and hunt down your opponent with your team mate. There’s lots of strategy you can use in this simple map which make me like to play this game a lot. Beside your personal skill, strategy and team work is the most important factor to win the game.Believe me! You will like this game once you try it!

A Simple Magic Trick!

Few days ago i just know that one of my course mate, Elias know magic trick. Although the magic he do is not like what the famous magician have done, but I really feel impressive for what he can do. The trick really simple but you will need lots of practice so that you can do it very smoothly. For what my friend told me is that once you get use of the movement and hand trick, you can do other card magic easily because the concept is almost the same. Super Trio Supreme In 1 Borneo!

I think I don’t need to explain what is Super Trio Supreme (铁甲无敌 掌门人).I’m sure that most of us have watched this show before. I have been watching this show since I’m in primary school and now I got the chance to see 曾志偉,钱嘉乐,沅兆祥, and their new member 王祖蓝, stand in front of me on the stage.

Now they travel from country to country for this Super Trio Supreme shows and Kota Kinabalu is one of their destination. Before they came to Kota Kinabalu, they had been to Ipoh and Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia. When they came to Kota Kinabalu, again in 1 Borneo Shopping Mall, there have a Meeting Fans Event.

The event starts at 7:00p.m. And now is still very early. Just want to show you the venue.

They are choosing adult and children from age 8-20 to dance with the掌门人 during the end of the event. Just answer a simple question then a lucky draw for the chance.

The event suppose to start at 7.00p.m.But don't know due to what delay,it start at around 7.40p.m.After all the actor come on the stage,it's time to take group photo.

An Event at 1 Borneo..Ron,Tavia and New Banana Club

Today there is an event held in 1 Borneo. It is the event for meeting the TVB actors, Ron and Tavia and a club name New Banana Club. The afternoon section of the event is for fans to meet their favorite actor. The night section is the actors giving performance such as singing and dance.

There’s not much for me to say because I’m going to let the pictures tell you about the afternoon section.

There's lot of people gather here, guess what are they waiting for or look at?

They are waiting for a chance to go lucky draw. What is the lucky draw for? not for getting huge prize but to gain a chance to get the signature from the actors and a take a photo with them.

How they choose you? They just call out a thing that you might wear or have, if you got it, you gain a chance for lucky draw. This uncle here gains his chance for lucky draw because he owns a Seiko watch.

Some of the fans are already sitting inside waiting for Ron, Tavia and New Banana Club.

There they are, Tavia already on the stage and Ron is on his way to the middle of the stage..

After the meeting fans section, they when into the rest room and all of us wait outside. This is the only picture I manage to take. They are heading out now with all the guard guarding them.

I thought they already leave the building but then...i saw many people gather outside Starbucks Coffee. Ron, Tavia and New Banana Club is inside having an interview.

I didn't squeeze in the crowd in front Starbuck for photos because I’m hungry now at going to take my lunch at the "Tasty Food Village" opposite Starbuck.

After my lunch, i went back to Starbuck but they already leave. Well, too bad that i can't get a good picture for my lovely visitors. So as a consolation prize, I took the picture of their poster. Not bad also right, no want will take the photo of the poster so I can slowly get my angle.

They will have the performance tonight and the ticket will be given to those who do purchase in any shop in 1 Borneo. I’m not sure how much is the minimum purchase to get the ticket for a seat.

Flying Kite

Above is a 130-meter and 12 kilograms kite in the shape of the Great Wall. The kite was designed and made by Zhang Tianwei, a master in kite designing. It took him three years time to complete this giant kite. Look carefully, the kite had a portrait of Qin Shihuang leading the head position, followed by a more-than-100-meter micro great wall. This kite needs 10 people to fly it. I wonder how there fly a kite with such a weight. Anyway, the kite was still successfully flown on top the sky of Xi'an, capital of northwest China's Shannxi.

Well, I really don’t know how to fly a kite which needs the contribution of 10 people but last week I finally got my first time to fly a kite. It might be quite embarrass to said so but it is true that it’s my first time. During my childhood I never play with a kite before partly because the housing area where I stay doesn’t suitable to fly a kite. So all this time I have the desire to fly a kite and it finally comes true. Yeah!

See how high it flew, actually there are picture of my kite which flew higher than this but I didn’t show it because the kite can’t be seen in the picture due to the height and the quality of camera.I think you have to enlarge the picture above if you really want to see the kite where I have circled. The enjoyment of flying a kite is not less than playing a remote control mini helicopter or hitting keyboard at home for DOTA (Defense Of The Ancient).




I enjoy so much flying a kite with a nice surrounding, at the beach of Sematan. Thanks god that the wind was on my side that day so even I’m just a beginner but the kite just flew to the sky easily. Look at the picture below, I don’t even need any skill but my cute keroro’s kite just flew in the mid air without falling.

Here is Sematan. A very small town where there only have few rows of shop and a wet market. The beach here is known to be very beautiful in Sarawak but unfortunately I can’t get a nice shot because the time I was there isn’t correct. The tide was on the ebb so the beach seem like dying.. Haha… Sematan is about 115KM from my house, the total journey is about 230KM.So it cost me about RM50 of petrol. Below are few pictures I took at Sematan.

Proton's Challenger

New Honda FCX Clarity is going to make Honda to lead the whole. This is because FCX Clarity no longer needs petrol as fuel. It is the first dedicated platform hydrogen fuel cell vehicles which mean that it is power up by hydrogen. The fuel cell stack in the FCX Clarity converts hydrogen and oxygen into electricity. A car that doesn’t need petrol? How fast can it go by using only hydrogen? Well, the speed is not to worry because FCX Clarity can go up to 160KM per hour and one full tank of hydrogen allow you to go as far as 270 miles or equivalent to 437.5KM.Besides,FCX Clarity is a zero pollution vehicle because it only emit water vapor. This is just a brief specification of FCX Clarity.

In this high petrol price era, it is good news to hear that there are vehicle that doesn’t need petrol as fuel on the road. But how much will this car cost? Will this vehicle being commercialize so that even lower class of family can have it? Certainly this will come true just the matter of time, hope won’t take up to 10 years. Anyway a vehicle without needing expensive petrol and produce zero pollution is really what the world need not just to save our expenses but also to save the Earth.

After reading the news of FCX Clarity, I feel that this will be a tough challenge for our national product, PROTON. As we all know that Proton just start to gain profit from New Saga, if FCX Clarity being commercialize, will our government let this new challenger enter our country? Even though they will but for sure that our lovely minister or government officer will come out with some brilliant idea such as increasing the car tax and the road tax for vehicles using hydrogen fuel. This is done with the name of “protecting national product” and to create a “fair compete stage” for Proton. As a result we will still drive a petrol fuel car unless Proton got its own product which use hydrogen as fuel.

What is the biggest news for yesterday in Malaysia?

Yes, government giving petrol's rebate through Post Office Malaysia.

Still remember the scene happened on the day before our Malaysia petrol price increase?

Again, the scene of queuing appeared. But this time there is a bit different because we are now standing and not sitting inside our car with air-con like before.And this happen at Post Office Malaysia,not in Petrol station anymore.

It was just like getting signature from Jay Chow.

After we got the rebate…It seem like everything back to normal…Petrol price goes back to RM1.92 per liter. NO inflation happen…Really a happy day.

So how will you manage your RM625 cash?

Firstly and most importantly is to fill up your fuel tank.


Next, with the remaining cash go for a N95.



Not enough? Then how about just get a Nokia 5300 lo!

After that, go and have a good meal with freinds or family. Seafood, I like it….
